As a 32 bit Windows program it permits long file names to be given to the saved plat files. This makes it possible to archive permits, applications, bids, etc under names derived from PIN numbers, map numbers, folio numbers, or other related documents.
The help system is an upgraded HTML based system eliminating the need for additional documentation.
Another feature added to the 32 bit version is the ability to incorporate Windows icons into the site drawings.
Plat files generated by QuikPlat PRO( an earlier version no longer supported) may be entered into QuikPlatPro32 and for drawings containing fewer than 10 layers, reverse compatibility exists.

A free self-installing demonstration package fo QuikPlatPro32 is available for download from this website. The demo provided is a fully functional but time limited version. When the software is purchased you will be provided a keyword that removes the time limitation. The time limit is 20 days. You may call Cameron Software at 1-(941) 313-5557 for information on how to purchase QuikPlatPro32. The demo package includes sample boundary files, site plans, and maps which may be loaded and printed. These will be found in the directory where QuikPlatPro32 is installed. Sample bitmaps and other drawing entities are included in the demo package. Using the documentation provided as well as the QuikPlatPro32 help system, one can easily learn to create boundary files from deed descriptions, save and load boundary files, print plats, find closure errors, and merge adjacent boundaries to uncover problems, etc. The QuikplatPro32 help system includes tutorials on how to interpret and draw property boundaries from deed descriptions and subdivision plats, how to prepare a site drawing for permit submission, how to work with scanned bitmaps and extract topographic data, how to subdivide land, etc.
