A free self-installing demonstration package for QuikPlatLite32 is available for download from this website. The demo provided is a fully functional but time limited version. When the software is purchased you will be provided a keyword that removes the time limitation. The time limit is 20 days. You may call

Upon execution of the file "litedocs.exe", the extracted files appear in a format that may be viewed and/or printed in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect, or WordPad. The demo package includes sample boundary files, site plans, and maps which may be loaded and printed. These will be found in the directory where QuikPlatLite32 is installed. Sample bitmaps and other drawing entities are included in the demo package. Using the documentation provided, as well as the QuikPlat help system, one can easily learn to create boundary files from deed descriptions, save and load boundary files, print plats, determine closure errors, and merge adjacent boundaries to uncover problems, etc. The QuikPlat documentation includes tutorials on how to interpret and draw property boundaries from deed descriptions and subdivision plats, how to prepare a site drawing for permit submission, how to subdivide land, etc. |
